Job Description

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, the premier academic medical practice in the capital region, is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of Manager, Business Intelligence.

This opportunity is critical to the success of the client relationship in driving performance management, process improvement and innovation thru fact-based decision making. This role will provide hands on engagement in data extraction, self service analytics and data modeling. 

Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in working with stakeholders at all levels to achieve significant accomplishments in these areas.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field.

Experience Five plus years’ experience driving performance management, process improvement and innovation thru fact-based decision making.


Must excellent presentation skills (verbal and written). Must have a strong understanding of analytic/statistical concepts with the ability to explain them to others. Must be knowledgeable about how organizations work; knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network. Must be committed to continuous improvement through empowerment and management by data; is willing to re-engineer processes from scratch. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA). Must be able to do math calculations and input data into the computer.
