Position Summary
Manages and oversee all aspects of departmental administration, academic and non-academic, including financial, faculty affairs, credentialing, scheduling, residency, human resources and new clinical service lines/offerings for a large department. Provide leadership and management when coordinating these activities; collaborates with Department Chair, Executive Director and other members of the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) administrative team in achieving the goals and objectives of the department and organization.

Provides leadership and general management of core department operations, overseeing the day to day activities.
Responsible for the development and management of new services lines that utilizes the MFA’s electronic health record’s system and other front-end ambulatory systems to ensure a seamless and efficient process.
Responsible for financial performance at multiple clinical sites working in collaboration with the Department’s Financial Manager
Provides oversight for the department’s academic and research programs.
Responsible for producing and regularly generating reports and analytics to assess all aspects of department operations to include provider productivity reports.
Provide oversight for department’s revenue cycle working in collaboration with Department leadership and nThrive leadership. Will liaise directly with nThrive and the individual hospital/s as needed for issues related to registration or the transfer of data between systems.
In collaboration with the Department leadership will develop, revise and implement standard operating procedures and/or work flows, which may apply to all aspects of department operations.
Manages the human resource functions for staff including hiring, performance evaluation, counseling, terminations, promotions, wage/salary adjustments, disciplinary decisions and grievance procedure; manages, in collaboration with the Department Chair, the logistics of administrative human resource functions for staff; assists in the development and implementation of programs designed to retain staff and enhance team work among working groups; oversees clinical payroll activities.
